Blues, Brews & BBQ Festival

As the unofficial launch of summertime in the mountains, top barbecue chefs from around the state join local chefs in serving up mouth-watering barbecue complemented by thirst-quenching brews at the 13th Annual Beaver Creek Blues, Brews & BBQ Festival.

The Blues, Brews and BBQ event offers free admission to the Beaver Creek plaza and food and beverage are available for purchase. Musical highlights include headliners John Mayall and Tommy Castro & The Painkillers, with opening acts Gary Allegretto and Shari Puorto!

Barbecue masters from right here in Beaver Creek and all over Colorado fill the village plaza, selling all the BBQ classics – from wings to ribs, pulled pork to brisket! All barbecue vendors will be competing for bragging rights and $1,750 in cash prizes. Attendees will have the chance to vote on Saturday and Sunday to determine the People’s Choice winner for Best Barbecue Vendor. Selected winners will be crowned on Sunday at 4:10 p.m. on the main stage in Beaver Creek Plaza.
A Kids’ Fun Zone will be open from 12-4 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday providing activities, arts and crafts designed for kids 12 and under.

Don’t miss the Microbrew Festival on Saturday featuring more than 80 special concoctions from over 30 Colorado-based breweries! On Sunday, amateur pit masters will be able to showcase their talents at the Big Green Egg Backyard BBQ Competition.
